For 10 years, Dato' Ng Poh Tip, the teacher-librarian-turned-reporter held the position of Group Chief Editor of Malaysian daily, The Star.

Having retired since, Dato' Ng is now Group Editorial and Education Advisor to The Star and Executive Director of the Asian Center for Media Studies.

The first Malaysian woman to be appointed Ambassador in 1971, Dato' PG Lim is a qualified lawyer who was an Advocate & Solicitor for 17 years.

Her career as a diplomat began with her appointment by the then Prime Minister Tun Abdul Razak Hussein, to be Malaysia's Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations in 1971.

Throughout her 10-year career as a diplomat, Dato' Lim has also represented Malaysia as Ambassador in numerous countries.

Dato' Lim has also served as Deputy Chairman of the first Board of Trustees of the National Art Gallery. She is presently consultant to a legal firm in Kuala Lumpur.

One of Malaysia's most prominent and respected female artist, Sharifah Fatimah is a renowned abstract expressionist and colourist.

A former awardee of the prestigious Rockefeller Fellowship in 1976, Sharifah's work have been exhibited in over 16 solo and hundreds of group exhibitions, both locally and abroad.

Her work can be seen in the permanent collections of the National Art Gallery Malaysia, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the National Gallery of Fine Arts in Jordan, and the State Museum in Penang.
