Why do people not listen to what is being said, but to what they think is being said? They do not hear, prefering to be deafened by the roar of their own interpretations even when the explanation is being offered. Why do they think that all explanations equates to an affirmation of guilt when the intent is merely to dissiminate truth or even wisdom.
Truly, a little knowledge is proving to be more harmful than useful, as is the case with intelligence.
